They will reinforce a positive EHSR culture by maintaining and promoting safety policies and procedures in compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and BJ's EHSR Management System.
Roles and Responsibilities Support Operations in the execution of the BJ EHSR Management System and BJ's journey to High Reliability through a constant frontline field presence focused on:
Fostering a job site HRO culture of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Identifying and controlling risk and promoting safe operations.
Ensuring all personnel employ proper PPE for the job.
Confirming all crew members understand and adhere to BJ Standards and Work Instructions.
Ensuring all crew members live in the CRM Operation Cycle - Every task is executed following the Ops Cycle:
Plan, Brief, Execute, Debrief.
Maintaining frontline compliance with all company, local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations and safety best practices.
Conducting formal standards assessments and planned HFC observations (BBS).
Providing Basin management with comprehensive SA to frontline operational and safety performance.
Continually evaluating and improving EHSR and HRO systems, processes, and tools.
Liaise with frontline client HSE representatives.
Case management and coordination of any safety incidents through to immediate medical treatment.
Support and coach the investigation process.
Maintain SA to fleet and crew inputs in EHS Insight to provide timely coaching and feedback on location with regards to investigations, HFCs, HIFs, SWATs, STEACS, and Standards Assessments.
Analyze HSE data to determine leading and trailing indicators.
Utilize trends to put proactive measures in place to mitigate the potential for EHS incidents.
As required, support Recruit to Ready and other training initiatives.
Other duties and tasks as assigned to achieve compliance with BJ's EHSR standards and with federal and state regulatory requirements.
Required Skills/Abilities:
An understanding of all applicable government laws, regulations, and reporting procedures such as OSHA, DOT, API, EPA, and DOE.
Knowledge of the industry's safety, training and environmental concepts, standards, and practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional coaching skills.
A thorough knowledge of the techniques of incident investigation.
Knowledge of the fracturing industry and related equipment, materials, and technology.
A solid operational history of effectively leading high reliability teams, maximizing operational performance, and applying sound technical knowledge and skills.
Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills.
